If you believe you might qualify for food assistance from the Food Pantry, please review the following eligibility criteria, complete the forms and either call 263-1221 for an appointment or stop by the Pantry (Monday, Wednesday, or Friday during our business hours 9:00am-12 Noon.)
Food Pantry Eligibility Criteria
The Food Pantry provides food assistance to those in need. Upon an approved application, food is provided to care for the family or individual’s needs until food stamps or funds to purchase food becomes available.
If eligible for food, a family or individual may receive food one time in any given month. A family or individual can only receive food three times in a six-month period.
ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS
Dickinson County residents ONLY
(residents with a Herington address must obtain their food from the Herington Food Pantry)
Must meet income requirements (see income guidelines)
Photo ID
Proof of address (any item received in mail showing current address)
Completed/signed Information Form.
Only one application is allowed per household address.
Photo ID is required each time food is requested.

If you need assistance with utilities (heat, lights, propane, or water), rent or vehicle fuel expenses, please call the Hope Center 263-4673 for an appointment to review criteria for qualifying.
